On July 5, the National Immigration Administration released data that in the first half of 2024, there were 14.635 million entries at various ports across the country, up 152.7% year-on-year. Latest: 72/144 hours visa-free transit list
All China’s ports of entry are open to the outside world for people from all over the world to implement the 24-hour visa-free transit policy. Currently, 41 ports open to the outside world located in 19 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) implement the 72-hour or 144-hour visa-free transit policy for people from 54 countries.
